Ok so although photography is the main hub of my gallery as im sure everyone who has seen it can tell you. However photography is not what I like the most. My favorite art is well anything other than human. So to try and stretch my legs out and try to draw I got photoshop (yea I went cheap and got the demo). But anyways after several failed attempts to draw on photoshop I am having thoughts that maybe i need lessons a shocker I know. But the main question I want to ask anyone who views this page is that if they know of any good teaching tools to learn how to draw would be most appreciated since well I really dont know. All my photography and drawing skills are things I learned in high school art class. Any ideas are welcome.

One hot camaro.

2 min read
Three years ago my dad and I set out with a single goal in mind. To rebuild a 69' Camaro SS. Well one day he comes home with a complete bucket of rust. This car looked like it would serve better as scrap metal than the base for a street ride. It had a hole in the floor board. Had no engine, no transmission and had been sitting outside in the weather since about the mid 80's. After about a week I had managed to remove about three 55 gallon barrels full of trash from the car. This was everything from rusted parts to a squirels acorn stash. After that the car went to Nex hotrods for body work. The car was there for nearly a year in which time it was stripped sanded blasted buffed straitened and then finally primed. After that the car was jugled among three shops for various assembly and parts. When the car finally returned home it had been painted andhad the axels. At this time was when we got the engine for the car. What looked like an unassuming box opened up into a 555 cu. in' big block V8. A Edelbrock Pat Musi custom engine this thing puts out 710 horsepower off the block and 1000+ ft lbs of torque. After another year of assembly the car was almost finished. Finally the HACK shack and a man named Ray helped us piece the car together just in time for the NHRA SEMA show in Vegas. After the show the car had to come back and be partially disassembled to fix some wiring problems. Finaly at the end the car is up and running properly headed to Whichitaw Kansas. The car is Firecracker red with a manual 6 speed transmission. The car has no car handles and has a remote button that popps the door about 2 inches out. 12 in' drag rears help this car to put max torque to the road and the 3 1/2 in' exhaust means the car doesnt bust your eardrums but is still loud and you feel the engines power vibrating the air instead of hearing it.

Hell ova summer

2 min read
So this sumer I spent the ENTIRE time in Whitesboro, Texas. Working at both the Double J as wel as the Double J 182 horse ranches. It was an experience for sure. The mother daughter ranches where seperate but together. While the Double J was mainly a riding horse ranch the Double J 182 is mainly a halter horse ranch. That allows one ranch to specialize and focus on a single classification of horse. Whats the difference? Well halter horses are the body builders of the horse industry. These guys are MASSIVE weighing 1400-1700lbs is not uncommon for these massive animals. Where as riding horses are what most people think of when you say "horse". Well anyways working on a ranch in Texas in the summer in jeans and boots is well ummm hot. On top of that the hours for working on a ranch are extremely long even on a good day. Not to mention all the horses get sick and time at the ranch goes up as far aswork goes. So what is the advatages to working on a place like this? Well its an experience of a lifetime, you learn what you as a person are capable of. So yes ranchers have a very difficult job but if you ask any one of them if they love their job 99% of them would tell you there is nothing better than working with horses.

Im terribly sorry to anyone who keeps visiting my page im trying to find a decent scanner that i can use to upload some of my artwork and photos that I have collected over time. Please bear with me I am increadibly slow on this stuff due to the fact its time for mid-terms in college and I am spending all of my free time studying.

Yea seems kinda odd that a guy who takes photos has a tag name of "Silver Fox Custom" well there is a story behind the name. Several years ago a good friend of mine had a dream of opening a firearms buisness and he wanted me to help him. Well after three years of studying and working towards the idea of the shop we had a place laid out and we had the money to get started for our buisness. The name of our buisness was Silver Fox Custom Firearms or SFCF for short. All we where really waiting for was for him to get his license to make and sell firearms as a custom gun maker. Last year (2010) in about mid October I got a call from a life long friend who was living with the guy who I was partnered with. The news was the worst kind. She told me that he had died in a car wreak about 4 hours earlier. Our dream of the gun shop pretty much ended right there, I was never and have never been an overly organized person and couldnt hold what he built together. Well after that I just kept taking photos mostly of places we had been or places he had seen me go and wanted to go. In a small tribute to him I desided to post some of those pictures and future pictures here. So dont laugh at the name or think its weird its my small way of keeping his memory alive.

In honor of Aaron Crusto and all of our military veterans who have returned home.

Thank you all.
